In the last national debate before voters actually vote in the Iowa Caucus next week, added drama came in the form of a boycott of the event by leading GOP contender Donald Trump. That's old news by now, but the effect of his theatrics still has to play out, both in the upcoming voting and in the national polls.

Davos, site of the World 2016 Economic Forumis a town in the Swiss Alps, within the canton of Graubünden. It’s a popular winter sports resort with a conference center that hosts the economic forum.

According to reports, the so-called fourth industrial revolution, following on from the introduction of steam power, electricity and electronics, will have less of an impact on developed economies. Emerging markets – notably in parts of Latin America and India – will suffer when artificial intelligence and robots become widely used, reducing the competitive advantage of their cheap labor.

Kate's Law, the law named for Kate Steinle who was murdered by an illegal alien in July of 2015. The bill would block states and cities from receiving federal law enforcement funding if they refuse to communicate with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) due to that state or city's "sanctuary city" policies.  Former Senate Leader Harry Reid is the most noted adversary for passage of Kate's Law and his antagonist on the issue is FoxNewsBill O'Reilly.  Read more
